Above is City Quay and HM Frigate Unicorn, the oldest British built warship still afloat and one of the 6 oldest ships in the world. Apparently plans are afoot to preserve the ship out of water making it a better looking attraction to fit in with the continuing regeneration of Dundee’s waterfront. http://www.frigateunicorn.org/

The Telford Beacon built in the 1820’s by Thomas Telford. In the 1960’s it was moved closer to the Tay Road Bridge and recently was moved once more to be next to the River Tay where it’s sister beacon used to sit.
