What Have The Romans Ever Done For Us?

All right, but apart from the sanitation, the medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, the fresh-water system, and public health, what have the Romans ever done for us?

The Romans arrived in Dundee this weekend at the McManus Galleries so I thought I’d nip in for a wee look around, surprised by how busy it was. Don’t think I’ve ever seen the galleries with that many people in them.

Amazing how well the statues of those times have survived and how well sculptured they are. Makes you wonder who made them, what life was like and what have these sculptured eyes seen over the years.

Oh and the answer to what have the Romans ever done for us?
The People’s Front of Judea can answer that one.
