A bit of an epic walk yesterday along the old Dundee to Newtyle railway which was on the go from around the 1830’s. Now it’s path for walking, running, cycling and the odd or horse or two.
It’s where you stick your post.
These were named after the designer John Penfold and not the wee hamster that lived under a pillar box as a loyal sidekick to Danger Mouse.
These were made between 1872 and 1879 this one I’m sure is a replica made around about 1990 and stuck in places of historic interest and tourist attractions. It is also my day 12 entry for Club 365.
